Guests will be impressed with this architecturally designed home with curved, exposed living spaces opening and flowing from the library to relaxed living (with open fire place), dining, kitchen and further living spaces. These spacious rooms overlook the fenced solar heated lap pool.

The retreat living quarters open onto outdoor decking, gardens, a well-designed north facing courtyard and pool which receives all day sun and is surrounded by attractive flora attracting a myriad of native birdlife at various times of the year. Oceania Retreats eco-design demonstrates sustainable living practices with louvered windows and environmentally friendly ceiling fans in all internal bedrooms and in lounge area to utilise natural ventilation. The retreat has been carefully designed for passive cooling and to best promote good airflow throughout the home with minimal demand on energy. Oceania’s building materials and techniques reflect best practice to ensure the internal temperature remains comfortable with absolutely no air conditioning.

Oceania Retreat hosts 4 large bedrooms in the main house and hosts a separate bunk bedroom retreat (with separate access) which is perfect for up to 2-4 children. This wonderful retreat sleeps up to 10 adults and 2-4 children comfortably. Bedroom and bathroom linen are included with your stay. Spare blankets are provided. A portacot is on request when booking.

Luxury Inclusions: 1.6 acres adjacent to the beach and national park, private beach access (rear accessed walking track to the back ocean beach), open fireplace, table tennis (in garage), gated security and orchard. Complimentary linen is provided.

Note to Guests: Please be aware that the bi-fold doors opening into the dining area are not able to be folded back. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

i. This property is not pet friendly.
ii. This property is the perfect venue for families and couples.
iii. A bond is required for all stays, which is refunded after the property is checked and there are no damages.
iv. Please do not park on Schutt Drive, only in the property driveway.
v. Please be aware that the bi-fold doors opening onto the back deck are not able to be folded back. Guests must also not move any furniture at all times.
vi. Additional guests are not allowed. Sofa beds are not to be utilised for this purpose as only the registered guests and allocated beds are to be used during the stay.
vii. Terms and conditions will be automatically emailed to guests after their reservation is confirmed via email. Please note Holiday Shacks requires all guests to sign and fill out a No Party Policy document as part of our traveller verification process. Your booking is not confirmed until your traveller verification process has been conducted and confirmed by us.
viii. We do not accept schoolies, bucks or hens bookings, nor do we accept parties or events under any circumstances. This is due to strict council regulations enforced by the Mornington Peninsula Shire Council Short Stay Law to which you must agree to when booking with us. Please note:
(i) A Security Deposit (Bond) of $2,000.00 is required for all bookings. We (Holiday Shacks) will email you a week prior to your stay requesting payment of bond, with a link to pay this. A 2.5% credit card surcharge applies to credit/debit card payments.
After your stay, we process the return of your bond within 14 working days to process, once our housekeeping teams have checked and serviced the property and no bond deductions need to be made.

(v) This property is located in a rural destination and uses tank water. Therefore, water is limited so guests will need to adhere to water conservation.
