Long View was excellent for our needs while staying in the Mornington Peninsula. We had three generations of the one family easily able to live together during our stay with privacy and extreme comfort. The weather was average and the fireplace was a welcome addition. Location is excellent for Red Hill wineries as well as close enough to the villages of Sorrento, Mornington, etc. The quality of the linen, kitchen equipment, recreational activities and outdoor facilities are superb.

What a house! Everything was immaculate and hassle-free. We hardly left the house in 3 days because it just had everything we needed – we felt like we were the Kardashians!!!!! Supermarket, cafes and take away food all close by and the views were amazing – we slept with the blinds up! Thank you for an amazing stay.

We stayed at Coastal Tranquility hosted by Andrea. Our two night stay was superb, Andrea’s communication and hospitality superlative and the attention to detail in the styling, decor and provision of home and kitchen wares beyond brilliant. The house boasts beautiful ambience, high ceilings, natural light and wonderful views. We felt like we were on cloud nine and Andrea’s thoughtful touches in our welcome were very much appreciated.10/10 for comfort, cleanliness, ease of communication and luxury atmosphere. What a brilliant home and weekend. Thoroughly recommended.

We have now enjoyed several stays at Coastal Tranquility. What a wonderful property in a suburb location. The house is incredibly spacious and would comfortably sleep several families or a group of friends. We also had the pleasure of spending a romantic weekend as a couple there recently and it was fabulous. The kitchen is better stocked than our kitchen at home – so many utensils, crockery, glassware, cookware etc. There is a lovely lounge area where you can relax or watch the TV in front of the two fireplaces. The outside area is perfect for an afternoon glass of wine and a dip in the pool. And you can’t miss an early evening drink on the upstairs deck to watch the sun go down with lovely treetop and bay views. Andrea is a perfect host, check in was a breeze and she was very responsive if we had any questions. Overall we highly recommend the house with its multiple bedrooms and bathrooms and stylish decor. This has become a go to for us when looking for a quick weekend escape from Melbourne. Next time we definitely intend to stay longer!

A beautiful, premium quality property with view to match. A quiet spot nestled conveniently next to shops and restuarants. Loved to sit by the fireplace and watch the world – and ducks go by! More than adequately provisioned for large families such as ourselves, with plenty of crockery and entertainment options including table tennis and board games. The outdoor spaces would make this a great pick in summer time.

Our group had a wonderful time at Coastal Tranquillity. All four bedrooms are well appointed with very comfortable beds, with the highlight being a huge master suite complete with luxe bathroom and balcony with bay views. The 2^nd bedroom has a queen bed with ensuite and bedrooms 3 and 4 also have queen beds and are adjacent to a full size bathroom. The kitchen is huge, contemporary and well-appointed with a nespresso machine, & large fridge with filtered water dispenser. The lounge and dining areas are really comfortable with a large TV and Netflix. Although it was too cold to enjoy while we were there the outdoor pool and entertainment area would be perfect for the summer months. An added bonus was that it was in walking distance to restaurants in Rye so our group was able to walk to and from dinner without the hassle of worrying about driving. We will definitely stay there again!

From the minute you pull into the driveway you know that you are about to experience a wonderful getaway. The architecture is unique and the large cactus plant in the front yard is aesthetically very pleasing. The house is warm and very tastefully decorated with everything you need at your fingertips. The home is very modern and the garden is a lovely place to sit and read and find peace and quiet. If it’s warm enough you can take a dip in the pool. At the end of the street, you have great cafes and the beach is close by. We had such a wonderful weekend at this beautiful home.

The house is a lovely get away with everything you need. Beautifully presented inside and out, including a pool! Great location with an easy walk to the front beach and Blairgowrie shops. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great house in Blairgowrie.

Outstanding! The house itself is exceptionally well designed with everything you need. The plunge pool was an additional bonus. How wonderful to park your car and just walk down to the beach, go for a shop and grab something to eat. Definitely a return stay.

Great spot to base yourself for a lovely break on the Mornington Peninsula. I love the cosy deck which cries out for visitors to sit with a good book or just enjoy the afternoon sun. In winter the wood heater is the best thing to warm you up. There’s nothing better than daydreaming and watching the embers flickering behind the glass door.  Close enough to walk everywhere you would need when you’re near the beach. Plenty of options for coffee and good food. The supermarket is also close by if you wanted to cater for yourselves. Once you shut the front door you’re in your own oasis to relax and enjoy.

What a great house! We booked a long weekend with friends, so 2 families with 4 kids in total. The kids loved the bunk room and had great fun all sharing together even though there was a 4th bedroom which they could have used. Everything in the house is so well thought through, it has everything you need. We mostly stayed in and cooked, enjoying the outdoor facilities, BBQ and that great pool! There were heaps of outdoor space for the kids to run around in, and it was also really well located with a 10min walk to the cafes and front beach. We admired the overall house design with lots of little spots to sit and enjoy the view outdoors, and all the bedrooms had their own zones. And having 3 bathrooms was really great! We would definitely stay there again.

We found Holiday Shacks very helpful and professional in arranging the accommodation. The apartment was clean and well presented and the views from the deck area looking over the inlet to the marina were very good. The location being close to the beach and the café/restaurant also being within walking distance was a bonus.

Byron was a complete delight in every aspect and we were particularly pleased to have chosen this haven to celebrate a significant birthday. The lay out, decor and equipment were all first class and suited our needs to perfection. The service provided when requested was immediate and good. The location was ideal to our needs as we could get around the Peninsula with ease and do everything and go everywhere we needed. We had a gourmet chefs dinner one evening and the facilities were perfect.

Amalfi Dream was the perfect weekend escape for our young family. Plenty of space. A short walk to the shops and the beach. Heated pool and hot tub. We will be back for sure. Highly recommend!
