Great house, lots of accommodation and space.

The property was fabulous and lived up to the photos and description. Whilst we weren’t cold we couldn’t get the combustion heater to draw properly, we did try to empty the box and repack the wood but had no luck. Looking at the ash collection tray underneath we think that this needs to be emptied and perhaps the flue cleaned as the fire wouldn’t draw. Other than this the property was most enjoyable.

Views were what we wanted and expected. Lovely touch the personalized card and wine which was appreciated as was the phone call to check on us day of arrival.

Oceania provided a very relaxing retreat for our workplace function. We enjoyed some sight seeing and then relaxed in the swimming pool and enjoyed energetic walks along the clifftops to the beach. We didn’t see another person. The house slept us all and, importantly, there was 2 tables with 14 chairs each and several comfortable lounges. One night we had delicious local pizzas delivered and the second night we cooked up a storm on the barbie. Great memories!

Absolutely stunning property, amazing views, lovely peaceful location. It was extremely well equipped, including having plenty of bedding, toiletries, firewood to lay a fire inside and out. The only few things that would have been useful were salt, pepper, cooking oil and matches! Could these be added to the kitchen store perhaps? Otherwise we loved it and will be back! Thank you.

We were very disappointed by this property. Extremely over priced for what it is. Very basic home. No WIFi. Cold with only split system heating and a fire to heat the rooms. No coffee pods provided to use with the Nespresso machine. Very poor given is was $727 per night. Foxtel only worked some of the time. There are much better properties to rent in the area for sure.

We attended as a group of friends for a 40th celebration and it was everything we had hoped for. Newhaven is a stunning property with views to the coastline and the City in the distance. It has every amenity you could ask for and a luxurious yet homely feel. We arranged for catering on the Saturday night which made the occasion even more special. This was managed by Holiday Shacks on our behalf. One of the lovely things about this property is how close it is to Melbourne.

Byron is a beautiful and private property in the perfect location. We had a very relaxing time and felt like we were at home from the moment we walked in. Everything so well thought through and so well appointed. Having such a wonderful place to stay made our anniversary weekend so much more special.

Had amazing stay at this property over the long weekend. It was a full house with 6 adults and 2 babies but there was plenty of room for all of us. We have never stayed in a better stocked house with plenty of pantry basics. All the cooking equipment was great quality and the house was so warm. We will definitely be back.

Was an amazing stay. Very clean and well equipped from kitchen to entertainment. View is wonderful. Pool was great but wish it was warmer. Solar heating was very poor.

The accommodation and facilities were top class. Holiday Shacks were extremely helpful and made up the bedrooms as requested and we appreciated this. Our grandchildren had so much fun in the pool, on the trampoline and hammock. The proximity to the beach is terrific and we all enjoyed the nature walk there and back. Our weekend at Oceania Retreat was a great success – thank you.

Our Stay at Vue de la Mer was great. The house was spacious and had enough entertainment for all our guests. Plenty of facilities available. The view is great from the Master rooms and the bed was very comfortable.

Dishwasher needs to be replaced – did not wash well and constantly stopped with F11 fault. No beach towels were available.

A perfect place for our family holiday with children aged 2 months to 17 years – something for all of them. The house is superbly designed for family fun and fitted with first-rate appliances and furniture.

Very impressed with North Haven and the service from Holiday Shacks. The house and garden were well-equipped, very peaceful and comfortable. Our children loved the cubby and totem tennis in the garden. The air con kept us comfortable on even the hottest days. The children’s room is a little cramped but otherwise this was the perfect holiday house for a family. Would definitely return.
