WOW, this house was spectacular, the kitchen was perfect as were the inside and outside dining areas and lounges. The salt water pool was lovely and the location was quiet and peaceful and there was a track to the back beach, which we went down every day. Beautiful house and we thoroughly enjoyed every part.

One word AMAZING Only improvement would be eye detail for outside maintenance as we experienced spider web and ants round the pool area. Would definitely recommend this property and the team who maintains this property is absolutely amazing will be back for next stay .

I had the pleasure of staying at this magnificent hideaway. The beauty is it’s 45 minutes from bayside and all of a sudden you’re in a peaceful haven surrounded by nature and waves. There is so much to do in the area for all age groups and many beautiful cafes and pubs for everyone’s delicacies. The house is beautifully designed with every nook reflecting the serene, healing home we all crave when life gets too chaotic. This place ticked all my boxes with coffee machine, heating, cozy rugs, a large dining table to indulge in amazing conversations. Big beautiful beds you can sink into and fluffy pillows to sleep well on at night. Not to mention the games area downstairs for the kids and teens to hang! Can’t wait to visit again and it’s a five star review from me !

The property was very comfortable and spacious with a great view looking out over the canal. It was in a quiet area but with plenty of amenities near by. We would definitely recommended for anyone staying in the area.

Had a lovely stay in Mt Martha, the property was amazing had great views very quiet area, the house was spacious large bedrooms amazing kitchen and had two great entertaining areas outside. The pool was spectacular allowing us to not have to leave the property as everything was there. I took all my own essentials only to find that there was more than enough essentials there for us. Highly recommend the property and wouldn’t hesitate to return. My family loved the getaway relaxing for few days.

Such a lovely holiday home, everything we hoped for! A wonderful home designed to capture the amazing views of the yachts and boats gliding by in the canal and the ships out in the bay, not to mention the beautiful sunsets and sun rises. Holiday Shacks have been excellent to deal with, always very helpful and informative. Special thanks to Andrea for her prompt assistance in helping us with the access to the pool. It would be a pleasure to book this house again in the future.

Architecturally the house is worth a stay you enjoy post modern. & the gardens are private and very beautiful. Mt Martha shops are a quick drive away – However, the process to secure the booking was onerous including what felt like a complete download of your personal details and a sizeable bond plus 1.5%! . The fees are quite excessive and we paid the equivalent of a five star hotel rate. I guess the joy of staying at a house is the amenities which bring some home comforts. Whilst listed on the website, there was no microwave, coffee machine nor even a bread knife…..just lots of decorative ornaments scattered throughout the kitchen. Plunge coffee maker but no coffee. A tad confusing. I guess the most concerning and disappointing issue was the bed stains we found on the sheets. Not sure what they were but we felt particularly uncomfortable. The second room had a similar issue – so we gritted our teeth overnight. New sheets were sent the next day. Appreciated

La Fauvette is a beautiful , well maintained property in a great location. Wonderfully homey feel. Tastefully decorated Extremely clean. It was an amazing home away from home for myself and my family (wife and two kids) and made for an excellent base for exploring Mornington. Highly recommend this property!
