After having tried many property managers in the past, we were a little reluctant to try another – but Holiday Shacks completely exceeded our expectations.  Never had we experienced such high touch and quality service, where all the small things that matter were added into the experience.  Our property was managed more competently than any others had previously managed to and we were able to completely set and forget the property, knowing that everything was in good hands. Andrea and her team have a wonderful network of support teams in the form of cleaners etc. that always did a wonderful job and the property was regularly rented out at very good rates.  I have no hesitation in recommending Andrea and her team to anyone considering renting their property out for short stay opportunities, as she really cares about the outcomes for clients on both sides of the transaction.

I consider myself fortunate to have been associated with Holiday Shacks for a number of years now. I searched for and interviewed several prospective Holiday Letting Management Companies before deciding on Andrea Wilson and her Team at Holiday Shacks to manage my property. Holiday Shacks also offer Owners assistance with Property Maintenance Lawn mowing Property Styling, etc if needed From the moment my property became came one of their properties I knew that I was associated with a Team that would care about my property as much as I do and I have always felt that my property was in good hands I have never felt like just one of many .From a Guests initial enquiry Holiday Shacks work hard to ensure that both the property will meet the Guests needs and that the prospective Guests are well suited for the property.I am appreciative of the pre Guest Entry Condition inspection and the post Guest Exit Condition inspection ,as an Owner it is important to me that my property is handed over to Guests in immaculate condition and equally as important that it be returned in the same condition .I am grateful to Holiday Shacks that the Guest experience matters to them as a frequent traveller myself I too know how important it is to have your expectations matched but how much more memorable it is to have them exceeded and I know Holiday Shacks strives hard to exceed Guests expectations .I would not hesitate in recommending Holiday Shacks highly to either prospective Guests looking for a special holiday experience where all their requirements are listened to and exceeded or to an Owner who wants to engage a Company who will care about their investment/property ,market it appropriately and manage the property well to assist in maximising your return. We undertook a very detailed search to find the best agent for our property. We wanted to find someone who could ensure that our very special holiday house was looked after in every way, marketed in the right way and if problems arose, they could be solved quickly. We interviewed several prospective agencies before choosing Andrea Wilson and her team. My husband and I are experienced rental property owners. When it comes to property management, one could not improve on the care administered by Holiday Shacks. As one of Andrea’s original clients, I have been delighted with HS. Our home has been managed with incredible attention to detail, and one cannot fault the response when, on a rare occasion, we have needed to bring a matter to their attention. All charges incurred from housekeeping are both reasonable and standard to the industry, as are those of Holiday Shacks. At no time have I found fees to be exorbitant. I do not expect tasks to be executed for next to nothing, I get the standard of care that I pay for. What I have experienced is exemplary management and housekeeping. Housekeeping is headed up by a competent, hardworking and dedicated owner. Their housekeepers keep impeccably clean linen, and take great care with my expensive or fragile pieces. I remain indebted to both Holiday Shacks and Sue Pallot of housekeeping for keeping an alert eye on my beloved holiday home. I have never been charged for guests leaving rubbish behind. I have never experienced surprising behaviour or ridiculous charges. Holiday Shacks commission remains at a flat 20% which is standard on the peninsula. As Andrea’s business grew rapidly over the period of time addressed by the previous review, it would have been easy to see a dilution of our rental income as the new properties competed for our business. However, I made sure that we stepped up to the challenge, reviewing our amenities regularly to ensure we captured the market. With Andrea’s help, we did just that. Our property income has continued to grow. We enjoy many repeat bookings, and I can honestly say we enjoy a stress free administration of this home. Last year Holiday Shacks secured rental income for us that was 30% higher than the preceding year.

We met Andrea Wilson and her team at Holiday Shacks in 2011, when we purchased our property in Mt. Martha and entrusted it into her care, to be part of her holiday rental portfolio. Her professional approach to marketing our property has been extremely impressive! Andrea is constantly updating her strategies on how best to look after the tenants and the owners of the properties that she is managing.
